Pagans' Night Out
The Concord UU Earth Centered Spirituality Group hosts a monthly event: "Pagans' Night Out," which is held at the Concord (NH) Border's store, the 2nd Saturday of each month, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. We meet toward the back of the store in the Art and Architecture section. (Concord Border's is on Fort Eddy Road. Take I-93 to exit 14. If you're coming from the south, just go straight at the lights at the end of the ramp. If you're coming from the north, turn left at the end of the ramp, then left again at the next intersection.)
This is a chance for pagans and those interested in pagan religions and issues to gather informally to chat, gab, natter, network and schmooze. We start with a specific discussion topic, and see where the conversation leads. There's only one rule. In proper Unitiarian Universalist tradition, we ask that everyone treat all participants, religions and spiritual paths (including non-pagans and non-pagan religions) with respect. Disagreement and debate are fine (and fun), but disrespect will not be tolerated.
We would also like to suggest that Pagans' Night Out be considered an "adults only" event. However, we don't wish to exclude those of you who, for whatever reason, cannot or don't wish to use a babysitter. You know your children best. If your older children would be happy and responsible browsing in the kids' section, and your younger children can be entertained with quiet coloring or reading at the table, then you are welcome to bring them along. We only ask that they be well supervised. Please also be aware that the conversation may at times be "adult" in nature. Nursing infants are welcome without reservation.
