This group is open to all who are experiencing the joys and struggles of caring for an aging relative or loved one. We provide each other with a safe, confidential place to share our stories and support one another.
What could be more fun and important than giving away other people’s money? If you join the Community Service Committee (CSC), that’s what we do. We work within guidelines, which promote the mission of our church, to choose where each Sunday morning collection will be sent. Meetings are monthly, usually on the last Sunday of the month. We review the requests from church staff and members, and from outside our church. We try to match the requests with sermon topics . Also, the CSC welcomes suggestions for community plates. You can fill out a blue request form available outside the office.
The choir warms up before each service during which it is scheduled to sing. The choir on/off schedule published on the web calendar is accurate through May 2017.
8 week class
During our worship service, children 12 and under are welcome to join their parents in worship, or to go to our Activity Room or Nursery Care depending on age.
