The Dances of Universal Peace is a community meditation practice of mantra and movement. We sing and dance creating harmony in body, mind and spirit. Quiet reflection time is offered between the dances. Poems or prayers may be shared as well. This evening is a time to fall into a loving space, supported by musicians and leaders of the dances. Elements of the dance practice include: Breath, Feelings, Listening, Moving together, Silence and the Sacred phrase. The Dances of Universal Peace calls to those who wish to explore the practice of mantra and movement. We gather in a circle to dance, supported by three wonderful musicians, led by experienced dance leaders who teach the song and movements. Expect nothing, gain joy!

5/21/2017: “It's Sun Day,” Rev. Michael Leuchtenberger
The sun has made possible and nurtured life on earth since the beginning. We will celebrate the many reasons humans and the earth have to be grateful for the sun’s life-sustaining power. And at 11:15 am, we will process out of our sanctuary to officially cut the ribbon on the latest way the sun will support our community: Electricity from our Solar Panel Array. Earlier in the service, we will also honor our long-time members. The Solar Panel Celebration will be followed by refreshments and our Annual Meeting.
This group is open to all who are experiencing the joys and struggles of caring for an aging relative or loved one. We provide each other with a safe, confidential place to share our stories and support one another.
