This on-going Adult Enrichment group meets every week on Tuesday evenings for one hour of meditation including a reading. Come, sit, listen, and meditate with us.
Our Beltaine ritual will take place in the church or in the grove, depending on the weather. This is a very special time of year. New life bursts forth all around and bird song fills the air. What better time to celebrate the fertility of the May King and the May Queen? It's sure to be a magical good time, so join us if you can.
Remember, if you've never danced the Maypole, now is your chance!
Stay and chat afterward if you can. You are invited to bring a snack or drink to share after the ritual if you would like.
Are there stories and photos that have guided you in your faith? To honor and celebrate your path and life's mission statement, you can create a Faithbook at any or all of our scrapbooking events. Do you have photos that need to be organized? We share ideas, inspiration, a table filled with photo/paper-cropping tools, idea books, and stories. The most treasured gifts come from our hands and our hearts. You may bring your own supplies or use ours to get started on your project.
“Rolling Away the Stones”
Rev. Holmes
On this Easter Sunday, the highest Holy Day of the Christian tradition, we will celebrate the new life that comes to us all, adults and children alike, when we roll away the stones that keep us in the dark places of the soul. Our children will be with us in the Sanctuary for this celebration of life. Do wear your Easter bonnet.
"Forgiving Emerson"
Joanna Henderson
Ralph Waldo Emerson probalby made many mistakes in his life but one in particular stands out. We can learn from what he believed, preached and wrote about at the same time we forgive him. This is a sermon abut help and helping.
"Shared Ministry Means Hearing Voices"
In the pulpit: Ministerial Candidate, Michael Leuchtenberger
Ministry is the act of serving. Ministry happens when people care. Ministry happens when people care. Ministry depends on how we listen. For ministry to have impact, ministry must be shared. Welcom to the team, everyone.

"Welcoming the Stranger"
In the pulpit: Ministerial Candidate, Michael Leuchtenberger
We like to welcome strangers who seem to welcome us and are likely to fit in. Important work, yet, what do we do when it takes courage to reach out to the stranger? What do we do when our welcome requires us to take risks because of possible humiliation, disappointment, and rejection? Radical hospitality depends on reaching out. Truly welcoming the stranger means we need to take risks.
Directly following the service, there will be a Special Congregational Meeting to vote on calling the ministerial candidate to be the settled minister.

Meets Thursdays, weekly
This class practices a broad range of postures to tone, cleanse, and relax, the muscular and nervous systems, while opening all the joints of the spine, hips, shoulders, and limbs. Mindfulness during centering, yogic breathing, postures, and the ending deep relaxation invite the subtle nonphysical benefits of yoga. It is appropriate for a range of students. The approach is sufficiently safe, gentle, and even-paced for new students, while providing experienced students with plenty of opportunity for challenge and development.
Led by Beck Anamin
Meets Thursdays weekly at 8:30 - 9:00 p.m. following Yoga
There are many approaches to and techniques of meditation, all of which share the common base of still-mindedness. Each week this program presents a new technique, a little of the philosophy and science of meditation, and aspects of practice. The presentation/discussion is followed by a 20 minute group meditation period. Students can attend either or both segments. It is planned as a half-hour program, but folks usually like to have a little discussion afterward.

Imagine you are a new member (or a new minister!) in an unfamiliar congregation. Wouldn't it be terrific to have a photo directory that matches up all those faces with names? To make this happen, the Communications Committee needs your help. Sign up for a brief photo sitting, before or after church. We're scheduling for March 21 and 28 right now. Families and couples will be photographed together.

This has turned into a popular event. It's a time to share songs and stories that honor our Mother Earth, the Goddess and the God. We'll bring and teach a bunch of songs, so don't worry if you don't know any. But if you do know some bring them along and teach them to us!. There will be some snacks that night, and time to chat. Feel free to bring a snack along to share if you want. If the weather cooperates, we'll be in the grove, with a fire, so bring a chair. Otherwise, we'll be inside the church.
