We will sing hymns identified by congregants as particularly meaningful and hear stories about what makes certain hymns so special. This will be a service rich in singing, sharing and exploring the mystery of music and how music has helped us let go of what needed letting go.
Letting go can be liberating and joyful yet when it is forced upon us by others or circumstances it can be stressful, frightening, and sad. Religion is designed to help us navigate our losses through ritual, music, story, community and more. Religion is designed to reconnect us with hope.

Come join us for this calm and meditative service with singing in the style of Taizé. The service will offer a time to feel spiritual community for anyone ready to let go of the busy-ness of the season or for whom Christmas is complicated or not a part of their religious tradition.
