Rev. Michael Leuchtenberger, Senior Minister
Rev. Michael Leuchtenberger began serving the Concord church in August 2010. The congregation ordained and installed him in October 2010 and he received final fellowship as a Unitarian Universalist minister in 2013. Michael was born in Bremen, Germany, and lived in the Black Forest and the Rhine Valley before spending the last two years of high school at the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore. Michael came to the U.S. for college and graduated from Brown University with a double major in Chemistry and Environmental Studies in 1992. [More]
Rev. Lyn Marshall, Minister of Lifespan Faith Development
Lyn received Preliminary Fellowship as a Unitarian Universalist minister in April 2015. She received her Master of Divinity from Meadville Lombard Theological School in 2014 and served as the full time intern minister at Allen Avenue Unitarian Universalist Church in Portland, Maine for the 2014-15 church year. Dan is married to Renee West; has one younger sister, Deb; and two lovely nieces, Kayla (27) and Katelyn (23). Dan and Renee moved to Concord in 2019 when Dan accepted his current day job as Administrator of Services for the Blind and Vision Impaired (SBVI), a statewide division of the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, New Hampshire Department of Education. Dan develops programs that cultivate skills of independence, helps to facilitate acquisition of integrated, competitive employment, and performs grant-related monitoring responsibilities. [More]
Jeff is married to Kevin and they live in Nashua with their two cats. Jeff is serving as one of the Intern Ministers here at Concord where he hopes to connect with congregants, staff, and the volunteers to understand parish ministry better and how church community functions. [More]
Music
Alex Hunton is the Choir Director at the UU Church of Concord as of Fall 2021. He works full time at the Derryfield School in Manchester as a middle and high school choir, general music, and theatre teacher. He also coaches soccer, participates in community theatre, and sings in the NH Master Chorale. Alex received his B.S. in Music Education at Plymouth State University in 2016, and is in the process of receiving his M.A. in Choral Conducting from Messiah University. If you are reading this, he would like to invite you to come sing in the choir!
Calvin joined the Concord UU staff in 2013. He has performed throughout northern New England as a collaborative pianist and has also appeared in concert at the Kennedy Center, the Philadelphia Academy of Music, and throughout the Peoples’ Republic of China. In 2015, he was honored to be the recipient of the Governor’s Arts Award in Education.He is the staff pianist for the Suncook Valley Chorale, and is the founding pianist of the Larksong Trio (with Peggo Horstmann Hodes, soprano, and Jennifer Yeaton-Parris, flute). Lea Smith, Director of Membership and Administration
Lea has been our Congregational Administrator since 2006, and has been a member of our church since 2000. In 2019 she transitioned to Director of Membership and Administration (DMA.) As DMA, she provides collaborative leadership as we grow our capacity to welcome and integrate newcomers, help current members connect more deeply, and notice and reach out to members who are becoming less engaged. She manages our financial records, oversees communications, and provides support in the areas of properties and stewardship. [More]
Heidi Page, Office Administrator
Heidi joined our office team in November, 2018. She is a graphic designer with an MBA in Digital Media Marketing. Her broad past experience includes: Assistant to Photographer, Adjunct Professor, Website Manager, Admin Manager, Marketing & Communications, Lead Special Ed Team Aide, Electronic Pre-press, Unit Coordinator of Emergency Department, Claims Auditor and Patient Service Rep. Facilities
Robert, Director of Facilities & Technology
Robert grew up in Minnesota and studied engineering at Montana State University. After graduating he moved west, worked in industry, traveled Europe via EuroRail pass and made a couple trips to Eastern Europe. He returned to school again in Washington State, completing a second BS in Biochemistry, then stayed to complete a graduate degree in surface chemistry. Following this were moves to Colorado, more work in industry, and eventually moving to Concord, NH. [More]
Agnes joined the staff in 2020.
Agnes came to the United States fourteen years ago by way of her fiancé (at the time), now husband, Peter. They were from the same town in Sierra Leone in West Africa. He came to Concord, and established work and living arrangements so that he could apply to have Agnes join him. [More]
