Faith in Action Overview
Every Sunday during our worship service, we recite together our Covenant:
Love is the spirit of this church,
and service its call.
Let this be our covenant:
To dwell together in peace,
to seek the truth in love,
and to help one another.
To answer our call to service, we work for justice and equity in the Concord community and beyond. We currently focus our energies in the areas of homelessness and refugee support. Please explore the tabs to the left to learn about our outreach ministries and think about how you may get involved. If you find something that interests you, call our office to be connected with a leader in that area.
In addition to our ongoing outreach ministries, pop-up acts of faith occur throughout the year as the spirit of the congregation is called. CROP Walk for Hunger, New American African Family Fun Nights, amateur productions of the Vagina Monologues, and a holiday giving tree are just a few of the ways we love and serve our neighbors.
Please contact the office for who is running each program or visit our calendar for the upcoming meetings or events.
