Our theme this month is healing – as individuals, as a community, and as a nation/world. We all experience hurt and suffering throughout our lives yet asking for help can be difficult. The church is here to support the healing we long for and deserve. So, how do we actually care for one another? What does the church have to offer? How can we all participate in being a healing presence for each other? Also be inspired by dancers from Nicaragua and the choir’s rendition of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.
This week’s Community Plate will be given to CROP Hunger Walk, a non-profit that has raised money to fight hunger locally and internationally for the past 47 years. These walks are sponsored by Church World Service.
