Welcome to the harvest season! This Sunday’s service will feature the Earth-centered Spirituality Group and our celebration of the first harvest, called Lammas. This is traditionally for oats or barley and the baking of fresh bread. In New England we’re bringing in the first berries and sweet corn. Our harvest holidays continue with the Autumnal Equinox, locally the start of the apple harvest. The third and final harvest is Samhain, when the last crops are brought in and meat is harvested to provide food for winter or sold for supplies. We welcome you to join to learn more about these traditions and ask us questions after the service. You can also keep up with the ECSG all year at facebook.com/concorduuecsg.
