Just a few decades ago, far fewer of us might have considered taking such a radical, “New Age” activity seriously… and even now, with a yoga class on practically every corner, many people continue to fear that they are not physically flexible enough or do not want to be lured into some sort of religion they are not likely to believe in. The silver lining in these confusing times is that we are needing to look beyond the spiritual comforts that used to meet our needs as a culture. Yoga, in its myriad of iterations now available, can lead us to better appreciation of our own bodies and a good deal less anxiety and mental stress.
