Reflecting on how a young family’s experience of unexpected (union) job loss (lockout during negotiations) revealed the power of family, friends, and community to sustain us through times of upheaval and change. Through stories of resilience and the power of labor solidarity, the service will explore how the values of mutual care, human dignity, and interdependence connect the labor movement with the values at the heart of Unitarian Universalism.
