As we re-gather in our own beautiful sanctuary for our annual water communion service we will be mindful of the many people in our larger community who no longer feel safe in our midst as the threat of deportation looms wherever they go.

Our water communion ritual honors the varied stories that join us together – again and again, or for the first time. Share your story of Friendship & Community, of Spiritual Growth & Learning, of Sorrow, Sacred Places, or Works of Justice. Bring some water that has blessed you this summer, directly or symbolically. Spare water will be available for all.

This week’s Community Plate will be given to the Safe Spaces Campaign of the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness.
