Lea Smith

Lea has been on our church staff for over 22 years, in a variety of capacities that evolved along with the church.
Lea was born and raised in southern California where she received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Journalism, from San Diego State University. She met her husband, a NH native, in California, and they moved to his home state in 1996. Lea’s greatest joy is her son and daughter, who are now fantastic young adults. Lea lives with her husband, her mom and two crazy dogs in the tiny rural village of Hill, where they enjoy organic gardening, cooking and eating interesting and exotic dishes, hiking, swimming, biking, and kayaking on the region’s dozens of lakes. Very recently, she learned to ski but winter in NH will never be her favorite season. Reproductive justice and living in harmony with the earth are two things that Lea cares deeply about.
