Lea Smith
Director of Membership and Administration
Lea has been a member of our church since 2000. In 2006 she became our Congregational Administrator, and in 2019 she transitioned to Director of Membership and Administration.
Lea was born and raised in southern California where she received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Journalism, from San Diego State University. She was a special education teacher in middle and high school before moving to NH in 1996. She has two young adult children: her son is in college in New York, while her daughter lives here in NH, and works at a private school. Lea lives with her husband, her mom, and two crazy dogs in the tiny rural village of Hill, where they enjoy organic gardening, yoga, hiking, swimming, biking, and kayaking on the region’s dozens of lakes. Lea is passionate about reproductive justice and environmental issues.
