Awe, Yes Please

“Awe is the emotion we experience when we encounter vast mysteries that we don’t understand,” writes Dacher Keltner in his book, Awe: The New Science of Everyday Wonder and How It Can Transform Your Life.  We can find awe anywhere.  It requires no money or the burning of fossil fuels.  All of us can find our own meaningful path to awe, Keltner rightfully claims.  He shows how awe brings us joy, meaning and community, along with healthier bodies and more creative minds.  How do we deepen our relations with the wonders of life?  How do we say “yes” to awe each day with gratitude and joy?  Come hear the choir tug at your heart with music from Mozart’s Requiem and the Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.
