Beloved Community is a way of being, an attitude, an orientation of the heart. It is an aspiration and a practice that shapes our relationships with each other and all living things. What does it require to be a Beloved Community? How do we live into the tension that exists between the part of us that seeks the comfort of being with like-minded people and the part that wants to welcome strangers and a diversity of thoughts and values? What is beloved about our community? And where is it headed?
Our first Sunday drop-in covenant group will focus on our monthly theme of “Beloved Community.” All are invited to participate. Rev. Lyn Marshall will facilitate.
Corey–Thank you for your reminder. You are so right.
