The Caring Network’s vision is to weave the web of community by allowing congregants to give and receive care and support in times of joy, sorrow, and transition.

We make connections throughout our church community through…

  • Meals Brought to Your Home (when you already have enough on your plate)
  • Rides to Important Appointments (like church, church events, or the doctor’s) when you don’t have any other options
  • Hosting Memorial Services (because we’re family and we’ll miss you too)
  • Other Special Requests (we haven’t thought of everything for this list and we’ll do our best to help)

Each of these four areas has a team leader who coordinates the efforts of volunteers.  If you are in need of help in any of these ways, reach out to Rev. Michael Leuchtenberger, or to Lea Smith, our Director of Membership & Administration, who will connect you with the team leader.

If you would like be on our list of volunteer helpers for any of these areas, let Lea know (lea@concorduu.org.)
